Which College Football Program Has Produced the Active NFL Players?
25) Wisconsin Badgers: 35
35 Wisconsin Badgers are currently on NFL rosters, including two program greats. QB Russell Wilson is currently with the New York Giants, while DE T.J. Watt is with the Pittsburgh Steelers and has 108 sacks over his eight-year NFL career.
24) South Carolina Gamecocks: 37
The list of 37 active South Carolina Gamecocks on NFL rosters includes Stephon Gilmore, Keisean Nixon, and Jadeveon Clowney, who is currently with the Carolina Panthers, his sixth team in 11 seasons.
23) Miami (FL) Hurricanes: 38
Among the 38 former Miami Hurricanes players currently active in the NFL is Calais Campbell. The defensive lineman entered the league in 2028 and has had a storied career, including being named Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2019.
22) Auburn Tigers: 39
The Auburn Tigers have 39 alumni on current NFL rosters, including two on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. K.J. Britt and Jamel Dean are both slated to start again on Todd Bowles’ defense in 2025.

The top three colleges that have produced the most players on active NFL rosters are all SEC teams. The Georgia Bulldogs rank third with 73 players, some of the most notable being Nick Chubb and Roquan Smith.
2) LSU Tigers: 76
The LSU Tigers have produced the second-most players currently on NFL active rosters with 76. Among them are two exceptional talents at the quarterback position in Joe Burrow and reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels.
1) Alabama Crimson Tide: 94
Far and away the top producer of talent, the Alabama Crimson Tide is credited with developing 94 players currently on NFL rosters. The Tuscaloosa team has had a former player selected in the first round of the NFL Draft for 16 straight seasons and has produced 47 first-round selections since 2007.
