At Texas A&M, Johhny Manziel was a must-see show every Saturday. Not only was Manziel a fan favorite in College Station, but he also took the nation by storm with his improvisational play style and famous “Money Manziel” celebration. In 2012, Manziel won the Heisman trophy after an incredible season.
The former Aggie threw for 3,706 yards, rushing for 1,410 and tallying for 47 total touchdowns. Manziel became an instant legend after doing what many thought was impossible at the time: beating No.1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
9. Robert Griffin III, Baylor
Robert Griffin III, or RG3, was one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks college football has ever seen, with his cannon of an arm and his savvy ability to take off at a moment’s notice. In his two years as a starter at Baylor, he accounted for over 8,000 passing yards and 77 total touchdowns, winning the Heisman in 2011.
8. Lamar Jackson, Louisville
Lamar Jackson had three solid years as the Louisville quarterback, but none was better than his 2017 Heisman-winning season. Jackson was seemingly untouchable, rushing for 1,601 yards and making video game-type plays multiple times a game. He also threw for 3,660 yards, paving the way for quarterbacks of his style to get more opportunities.
7. Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
Baker Mayfield’s story in college football is nothing short of impeccable, from walking on to the team at Texas Tech to winning a Heisman Trophy with Oklahoma just a couple of seasons later.

In 2017, Mayfield was a force, throwing for 4,627 yards, 43 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. Every time Mayfield stepped on the field, you knew that the Sooners would put up big numbers.
6. Deshaun Watson, Clemson
The former Clemson Tiger was a certified winner during his time at Clemson. He accumulated a 28-2 record as a starter, leading the Tigers to back-to-back national championship appearances in 2015 and 2016, winning in 2016.

When thinking about college football, Vince Young is a name that instantly comes to mind. Thanks to the iconic play of him running the the game-winning touchdown to secure the national championship in 2005 vs USC, capping off an undefeated season. He also led the Longhorns to a Rose Bowl victory in 2004.

2010 was a season to remember for college football fans, especially the Tigers, to an undefeated season, steamrolling their way through the regular season, capping it off with a national championship.Thanks to his massive size, it was almost impossible for him to stop when Newton took off. He ran for 1,473 yards in 2010 and took home the Heisman.
2. Joe Burrow, LSU
In maybe the most incredible college football season, a quarterback has ever played, leading arguably the best college football team ever. In 2019, Joe Burrow set the sport on fire, throwing for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and a mere six interceptions. He led the Tigers to an undefeated season, winning the national championship and taking home the Heisman.
1. Tim Tebow, Florida
The former Florida Gator has had the most prolific college football career of anyone who has ever played the sport. During his four years in Gainsville, Tebow accounted for 145 total touchdowns and was part of two national championship teams while winning a Heisman trophy.
