Predicting the Top 10 Highest-Rated True Freshmen

    10) Andrew Babalola, OL, Michigan

The second-highest rated offensive lineman in this class, Babalola’s 6’6″, 290-pound frame gives him loads of potential to grow into a tremendous player in the trenches for the Wolverines. He’s also extremely athletic, something that will surely boost his player rating.

    9) Tavien St. Clair, QB, Ohio State

Though he’s considered unlikely to be the starter in the fall, St. Clair will be a fun player to insert in the game as he has great size (6’4″, 225 pounds) and is mobile, something that was invaluable in last year’s edition of the game. He’s showcased the ability to make every throw on the field, so if you’re skilled on the sticks, St. Clair could be your guy.

    8) Isaiah Gibson, EDGE, Georgia

Though he’s the 14th-highest rated recruit per 247 Sports, Gibson will be entering into a Bulldogs program that produces NFL-ready talent at the EDGE position right away. The 6’4″, 255-pounder has great length matched with tremendous speed and agility, boosting his rating higher than if he were just another true freshman.

    7) Michael Fasusi, OT, Oklahoma

A star on the camp circuit, Fasusi is a physical specimen at the tackle position. He’ll be given a chance to start from Day 1 and could become one of the best O-linemen in college football by the end of the season. Fasusi is extremely athletic and has the look of an NFL first-rounder.

    6) Keelon Russell, QB, Alabama

Similar to St. Clair, Russell may not see the field at all this upcoming season, yet he’ll still be rated highly, as he was ranked as the No. 2 player in this class. His slight frame at 6’3″, 175 pounds helps him slip out of tackles and explode in the open field. But make no mistake, Russell is an accurate passer and can pick apart defenses if used correctly in the game.

    5) Amare Adams, DL, Clemson

Standing 6’4″, 285 pounds, Adams could contribute right away on the Tigers’ defensive line. He wrecks the game with athleticism, will, and sheer power, blowing up blockers and getting into the backfield at will during his high school career. If you user D-linemen, Adams is your best bet to blow things up for your opponent as a true freshman.

    4) Devin Sanchez, CB, Ohio State

The top cornerback in the class, Sanchez is a mature cover-man who has all the tools and traits to become one of the best at his position in college football — and in CFB 26. He has good size at 6’2″, 185 pounds, and matches that with tremendous speed.

If you user Sanchez, you’ll have as much room for error as any CB in the game, as he can recover with the best of them.

    3) Elijah Griffin, DL, Georgia

The No. 3 recruit in this class, Griffin will be joining the Bulldogs’ defensive front alongside Gibson. Griffin’s frame is college football ready from Day 1, as he’s massive at 6’4″ and 310 pounds. But he’s not just a typical big guy, as he can move his feet and has a great first step. Watch out for him to be wrecking backfields in CFB 26.

    2) Dakorien Moore, WR, Oregon

EA loves sprinkling in a high rating with a glamor position like WR, and Moore will be the one to take the crown as the highest-rated true freshman pass catcher.

His high school career was filled with highlight-reel catches and he’s continue that trend with the Ducks during spring practices. He has all the traits to be a highly-rated receiver in CFB 26 as a bona fide go-to receiver.

    1) Bryce Underwood, QB, Michigan

It should come as no surprise to see Underwood on here, who stands a chance to be the Day 1 starter for the Wolverines in his first season. At 6’4″, 208 pounds, he has the body to be a force right away. He has everything a QB would want in arm strength, athleticism, and playmaking ability.
