    The 2019 LSU vs. Alabama game showcased unprecedented talent, with 18 players who would become first-round NFL Draft picks. The Tigers’ offense, led by quarterback and future Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, dominated the first half and led at halftime by a score of 33–13.

    The Crimson Tide responded with a stronger performance in the second half, with running back Najee Harris scoring two touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters to bring the score to 33–27. The fourth quarter saw both teams trade touchdowns, with a collective 34 points scored in the quarter.

    Ultimately, the Tigers prevented an Alabama comeback and won with a final score of 46–41. This wasn’t only a historic showdown on the field, but it saw the most talent ever on a college football field, with 18 players in total who would go on to be picked in the first round of an NFL Draft, whether it be 2020, 2021, or 2022.

    Alabama had 11 players with considerable potential who would be drafted in the first round of their respective NFL Draft classes. Those 11 names included Najee Harris, Jerry Jeudy, Mac Jones, Alex Leatherwood, Evan Neal, Henry Ruggs, DeVonta Smith, Patrick Surtain II, Tua Tagovailoa, Jayden Waddle, and Jedrick Wills.

    As for LSU, there was no shortage of talent, as Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Patrick Queen, Derek Stingley Jr., K’Lavon Chaisson, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire each found their own way into the NFL in the first round of their respective drafts.

    This was known as arguably one of the best teams in college football history, with one of the most explosive offenses that college football has ever seen.
