Thomas Perry 2025 NFL Draft Outlook
Perry could join the likes of Quinn Meinerz and Ali Marpet as Division III offensive linemen who had success transitioning to the NFL. Outside of his length, he has the tools that you would look for in a dominant IOL prospect.
The lack of competition on the field is the elephant in the room but Perry has been working with and around NFL talent off the field for a few years now. He has worked with offensive line guru Duke Manyweather and has a feel for what it takes to be great in the NFL.
The Division III standout who had already been on the radar of scouts opened even more eyes by looking dominant and standing out at the East-West Shrine Bowl. Perry showcased his talent against the likes of Power Four prospects with executives from every NFL team watching.

Perry’s tape is nearly flawless. He routinely showed impressive technical ability and flashed high-level athleticism. Perry is a quick, agile puller and shows stunning power at the point of attack. Perry showcased firm grip strength and regularly created leverage with this and his powerful lower half.
Perry shows incredible lateral quickness as he is able to shift his weight and move off the line of scrimmage without any wasted movement and keeps his balance to blow open holes in the run game.
Perry is a high-level athlete, showcasing great twitch and bend. He also possesses quick feet and great knee bend. Perry displaces defenders and anticipates opponent’s movement showing his intelligence as a blocker. He also brings a level of nastiness, often blocking through the whistle and finishing his blocks violently.
A guy that any team would love getting their hands on,, Perry’s length holds him back from being mentioned among the best of the interior linemen. His arm length is not ideal and he often has to make up for it by lunging and losing his anchor. Perry could struggle with reach blocks and defenders will be able to get to his chest.
Bottom Line: Perry will bring strong traits and will be a project initially. There will be an adjustment period but when the game slows down for him and he is able to utilize his rare skill set, he could prove to be a great value pick.
