The Dallas Cowboys are heading into the 2025 season with too many questions unanswered. One of the biggest questions is, who will be their wide receiver? They have managed to patch up other areas like edge rusher, after losing DeMarcus Lawrence in free agency.
But now, as the NFL Draft approaches, their biggest concern is finding a person to complement CeeDee Lamb.
Tetairoa McMillan, the Arizona Wildcats’ might just be the missing piece of the Dallas offensive puzzle.

Tetairoa McMillan Could be The Solution the Cowboys Need
McMillan might be their solution. He is projected as a top receiver in the draft. McMillan is 6’4″ and 219 pounds. He’s built for the X-receiver role. His back-to-back 1,300-yard seasons at Arizona weren’t just for show. He finished his collegiate career as the school’s all-time leading receiver with 3,423 yards, surpassing Bobby Wade.

Wade just so happens to be his wide receivers coach during his final season. But what makes McMillan the perfect fit for the Dallas Cowboys? Well, his skill set complements CeeDee Lamb’s perfectly.
Lamb is someone who thrives on route-running and quick separation. Meanwhile, McMillan’s frame and 31 ½-inch arms make him a nightmare for defenders in contested catch situations.
Dallas needs a big-bodied receiver who can win 50/50 balls, and McMillan might just be the solution. Additionally, McMillan is not just a deep-ball specialist. He moves with long strides, creating separation with deceptive speed.
McMillan also has good sideline awareness. He is able to keep himself in bounds and make plays when the pocket collapses. Plus, his ability to play both inside and outside gives the Cowboys the flexibility to shift Lamb around, keeping defenses guessing.
Of course, every prospect comes with a few doubts. With McMillan, it’s his top-end speed. But there is no doubt that his size and skills might compensate for concerns.
“The Cowboys have a lot of needs, but wide receiver should not be ignored. McMillan’s combination of size and ball skills would give him a real chance to become a star alongside CeeDee Lamb,” ESPN’s Field Yates said.

And that is exactly what Dallas needs. If McMillan lands in the Cowboys jersey, he instantly becomes their tallest receiver, giving quarterback Dak Prescott a legitimate red-zone and deep-threat target.
The Cowboys need a playmaker. McMillan is ready to be one. Now, all that’s left is for Dallas to make the call on draft night. If they don’t pick him, the Seahawks might take him away.
