“Disrespectfully!! Sit This One Out!!”: Terrell Owens Blasts Reporter Over Harsh Shedeur Sanders Criticism, Calls Out Kevin Stefanski for Ignorance

Shedeur Sanders has always been subjected to criticism, whether it’s during high school, college, or in the NFL.

The ex-Colorado star got the opportunity to start in an NFL game after 11 weeks against the Las Vegas Raiders, a matchup that ended with a 24-10 Browns win, making it their 3rd win of the season.

While some Shedeur supporters were thrilled to see their quarterback steal the spotlight against the Raiders, some critics were not impressed with how he conducted himself after the game.

Shedeur expressed his confidence in a post-game interview and said that if he was able to perform so well with just one week of practice and no first-team reps prior to that, what he could do after a full offseason of practice, given a chance.

This statement didn’t sit well with NFL reporter Jon Root, who said this kind of attitude is the reason why Shedeur has so many haters.

“This is one reason why many people aren’t very interested in rooting for Shedeur. This isn’t confidence. It’s arrogance. He talks like his dad, without having the resume & skillset to back it up. Humility would go a long way.” Root wrote.

Terrell Owens replied with a bold message for defending Shedeur and wrote:

“Hey Jon!! Disrespectfully!! Sit this one out!! You don’t like his presumed confidence but how about the coach’s blatant disrespect of his starting QB?! Same for Stefanski…HUMILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT would go a long way. You don’t get to choose his character after a better than average performance by a rookie starting QB!.”

Shedeur Sanders Weighs In on Mindset As Browns QB1

Shedeur Sanders met with the media during Wednesday’s press conference and talked about his mindset as he prepares to go against the 49ers in week 13.

The ex-Colorado quarterback realises that he has gotten the opportunity after a lot of effort and patience, so he knows that he can’t get comfortable.

He shared that he understands how easily things can come and go in life, and that everything can be taken away from you at any time; hence, he makes sure he is never comfortable in a situation he is in.

“I always want to exceed expectations, and I always want to grow in each and every week, I would want to put a better product of myself, be a better version of myself for the team to be out there.” Sanders said.

Shedeur completed 11 of 20 passes during his debut start and threw for 209 yards with one interception and one touchdown.
