Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams officially tied the knot with Italian actor Andrea Preti on December 19. The couple held a formal courthouse marriage in Palm Beach, Florida, followed by a five-day celebration with family and friends.
On Saturday, Williams shared more wedding snippets on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into her multi-day celebrations. However, Williams revealed that she had to end the wedding celebrations early that night, keeping the 2026 season in mind.
“We ended the night with karaoke, but we couldn’t go too crazy. I had to train in the morning,” she wrote.

Williams, who returned to tennis at the DC Open, is active on the WTA Tour. The story comes just one month ahead of the 2026 Australian Open. However, the American tennis star has not confirmed whether she is going to participate. While she is not on the official Australian Open entry list, she could still receive a wildcard or enter later.
Meanwhile, she is scheduled to compete in the ASB Classic in Auckland from January 5 to 11, 2026.
Venus Williams Tied The Knot Twice With Andrea Preti
Venus Williams had previously exchanged vows in Ischia, Italy, as the couple always shared a dream of tying the knot in the country. They took the vows on September 18. However, because of legal paperwork delays, the wedding was considered more symbolic than an official ceremony.
“Because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding,” Williams told Vogue.
The couple held their second wedding in Florida. Over the five-day celebrations, Williams reportedly wore over 10 different gowns designed by top fashion houses such as Georges Hobeika, Morilee New York, Nadia Manjarrez and more.
“I wanted to wear a dress that I thought Andrea would love. And that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding,” Williams said.
The wedding celebrations were carried out on a yacht, filled with bridal showers, dinners and receptions. On seeing Williams walking down the aisle, Andrea revealed he became emotional as he said:
“When he saw Venus walking down the aisle, she looked like a goddess. I was crying and happy.”
Andrea Prti asked Williams to complete her vows in Italian. She added:
“We got up there and had the best time. I finished [my vows] in English, and Andrea told me that I had to do them in Italian. It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
Williams was joined by several friends and family for the wedding in Florida, including her sister and 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.
