Grigor Dimitrov Leaves Actress Girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez Speechless In Brisbane International 2026 Opener Win

Grigor Dimitrov impressed not only his fans but also girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez with his opening-round win at the 2026 Brisbane International. He was a 6-3, 6-2 victor over Pablo Carreno Busta.

The match witnessed some incredible shotmaking and entertaining rallies. Gonzalez picked out one particular point from the second set to laud her boyfriend.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a post from the Brisbane Internationals and ATP Tour’s official accounts. The rally, played when Dimitrov was leading 6-3, 4-0 saw him given Carreno Busta the runaround with a dropshot-volley-lob combination. The Spaniard showcased incredible footspeed to get to all of the shots, but Dimitrov eventually cleaned up with a powerful overhead smash to take the point.

Gonzalez tagged her boyfriend in the Instagram story, which featured a 1 minute 14 second clip of the Brisbane International point, and fittingly used “cleaning” sponges emojis to caption it.

Following that rally, Carreno Busta put up some stern resistance in the encounter. Dimitrov, however, was able to hold his ground and managed to close out the opening-round encounter in straight sets.
