It’s a long time away, but the Tennessee Volunteers 2025 football schedule has been released. Well, at least the Vols’ SEC opponents.
Yet, it was met with little surprise once the dust had settled and Tennessee’s list of opponents looked all too familiar as their 2024 schedule.
List 2025 Tennessee Volunteers Opponents
The Volunteers will take some interesting trips during the 2024 season. Inside of that are games at Georgia and new-SEC foe Oklahoma.
Tennessee travels to Norman to square off against Oklahoma in their first season as a part of the SEC, forming a 16-team conference with rival Texas. While their 2025 schedule mirrors their opponents, the Vols will welcome Oklahoma to Neyland for just the second time in the program’s illustrious history.
Notably, the Vols will be looking to exact revenge from a 2015 loss at home against the Sooners come this 2025 matchup.

In addition to their date against Oklahoma at home, the Vols welcome in Arkansas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt to Neyland in 2025. The Josh Heupel-led Tennessee program has given fits to perennial favorites over the past few seasons and with Georgia hungry for a return trip to the Playoffs in 2024, who knows what this 2025 matchup could have in store.
As far as road games, that’s where the Tennessee 2025 schedule takes a turn. Tennessee has a difficult road stretch including trips to Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi State. That headlines a fairly difficult entire slate, but this Volunteer program should be used to that by now.
