“Doing all this just to lose to Cincinatti,” said a fan
“Nebraska is what’s wrong with college football. Historically a*s the last 2 decade and now they are just buying a roster,” called out a fan.
“That’s a lot of money to go 3-9. Good for him,” said another fan.
“Bro getting paid 3 million to choke against Cincinnati is CRAZY,” remarked a fan in disbelief.
“For a 6-win season? Not bad,” commented a fan.
“6 wins is expensive these days,” stated a fan.
“He better have a great damn year for that salary,” commented a fan in hope.
“Won’t be enough by the end of the year,” said a fan.
The preseason recognition entering 2025 is a confirmation of his breakout season. Raiola was on both the Maxwell Award watch list and the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year watch list. These awards reflect elite talent and character.

Dylan Raiola’s Record-Breaking Campaign Justifies Massive Earning Projections
The freshman quarterback made a big imprint on the record books at Nebraska in his first season and announced himself as one of the best young talents in college football.
Dylan Raiola completed 275 of 410 passes, for 2,819 total yards. He finished first among all freshmen in completion percentage (67.1) and third in total passing yards, nationally.
Raiola threw down a total of 13 touchdown passes and had 11 interceptions. One of his best performances came against Illinois where he threw for 297 yards and three touchdowns.
While a humble 7-6 record is something to look at, for Nebraska football it was progress. Raiola led the Cornhuskers to their first bowl game victory since 2016 when they defeated Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl.
