Taylor Swift’s relationship with football wasn’t always the same. Speaking on the “New Heights” podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, she admitted to not knowing much about football.
“I didn’t know what a first down was. I didn’t know what the chains were. I didn’t know what a tight end was,” admitted taylor.
Travis Kelce, upon hearing her football journey as a fan, expressed deep appreciation for Swift’s commitment to his world.
“I am forever thankful for you diving into the football world wholeheartedly,” he told her during their podcast conversation.
Swift went into detail with loaded words about how she felt on draft day, highlighting her obsession with football.
“Oh my god. I fell in love with it (football). I became obsessed with it. I became like a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy,'” Swift revealed.

“No, I was screeching. I couldn’t believe it. I was freaking out,” she emphasized.
Swift’s enthusiasm caught even Kelce off guard. The Chiefs tight end admitted he was elsewhere when the pick was announced, making Swift the first person to deliver the news about the selection of the $13,790,264 worth wide receiver.
“I forget where I was, but you were the first person to tell me that we drafted the first man in the draft,” Kelce revealed during their conversation.
Swift’s excitement was so intense that Kelce initially questioned the accuracy of her information.
“I’m like, ‘Wait, does she she right? I had to look this up.’ I’m like, she get the wrong information here,” the tight end confessed.
The Chiefs organization had a significant moment when they selected Worthy. The former Texas Longhorn came to Kansas City with great credentials after blazing a 4.21-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, which was the fastest time in Combine history.
The speedy receiver had an exceptional career at Texas, where he totaled 2,755 receiving yards and 26 touchdown receptions, which rank 4th and 3rd in Texas history, respectively.
