    Syracuse vs Clemson is a big ACC matchup for two teams coming off strong 2024 seasons. Before the game began, the Clemson Tigers were coming off a narrow 24-21 loss to No. 18-ranked Georgia Tech. It was the team’s second loss of the season despite being a preseason favorite to win the ACC. Syracuse was coming off two straight wins after losing in Week 1 to No. 15-ranked Tennessee.     Syracuse vs Clemson Game Summary

    While Clemson entered the game as the favorite, Syracuse got off to a quick start, scoring a few minutes into the game with a touchdown by Justus Ross-Simmons. Then, while the Orange were unable to score another TD in the first quarter, they added a field goal to take a 10-0 lead. However, Clemson cut the lead to 10-7 with a TD of its own with three minutes remaining in the quarter.

    Things continued to go poorly for Syracuse at the start of the second quarter. Syracuse scored four seconds in to bring the score to 17-7. Syracuse scored again a few minutes later to bring the score to 24-7. Clemson was able to score with a minute left to bring the score to 24-14 entering halftime. That lead held as the Orange entered halftime with a 10-point lead.
