College football’s infectious energy is slowly taking over the country. As the new season starts, football fans are getting ready for the experience. The mania has also caught up to Glen Powell, Sydney Sweeney’s co-star from the 2023 romantic comedy “Anyone but You”.
The Texas-born actor is currently promoting his upcoming series titled “Chad Powers”. During the promotion, Powell stopped by the Ohio State Buckeyes stadium and made a startling confession about the most terrifying place to play football.
When asked if he liked the warm welcome from the fans at The Horseshoe, Powell said:
“My dad went to Ohio State, undergraduate here, he went to graduate school in Texas. I’ve always wanted to come to The Shoe, this is one of the most terrifying places in college football to play, and I think Texas is ready.”

In less than an hour, the Ohio State Buckeyes will play against the Texas Longhorns at the Ohio Stadium. Powell’s admission about The Horseshoe is unique because when people talk about the most terrifying places to play in, they usually refer to Death Valley.
The Ohio Stadium is over 100 years old. It’s often referred to as The Horseshoe or The Shoe because of the shape of the iconic structure. The name “The Horseshoe” reflects the stadium’s distinctive architecture, which resembles the curved metal used to protect a horse’s hoof.
Powell’s upcoming series “Chad Powers” is based on Eli Manning’s character created for Eli’s Places. The story revolves around a college football quarterback who, after ruining his Division I career due to bad behaviour, tries to redeem himself with a concealed identity. The series will premiere on Hulu on Sept. 30.

Tim Tebow’s honest take on Arch Manning ahead of crucial college football season
The new season is going to be remarkable for the Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning. The newest star from the celebrated Manning family is set to expand their immeasurable impact on the world of football.
Manning, who has been with the Longhorns since 2023, will be the starting quarterback for the program for the first time. As per Tim Tebow, Manning has a lot of potential, and he’s going to show it in the years to come.
“I’m excited,” Tebow said on The Paul Finebaum Show. “I really think that he has an extremely high floor. I think it’s one of the highest floors because he can do everything. And I’m excited to see where that ceiling is, because this is someone that, since he first put on a helmet, has had to deal with pressure because he’s a Manning.”
