Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal, stepped into the College Football Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas looking every bit the power couple. The evening brought together some of the most recognizable figures in the sport, and Sarkisian found himself sharing warm moments with one of the greatest coaches ever, Nick Saban, and Saban’s wife, Terry.
After the event, Loreal posted several pictures on Instagram with different groups of people, including some of those who were honored at the ceremony.
In the first picture, Sarkisian stands beside Loreal, Saban, and Miss Terry. Loreal wore a fitted black gown, pairing it with a cropped fur jacket. Her accessories included a studded black handbag, layered bracelets, and pointed heels.
Sarkisian kept his look classic in a black suit and tie. Saban wore a tuxedo with a medal resting around his neck from his Hall of Fame induction.
The Las Vegas event welcomed several major names into the College Football Hall of Fame. Saban entered as one of the most accomplished coaches the sport has ever seen. His championships, his discipline, and the dominance of his teams earned him a place that felt inevitable.
Loreal also posted pictures from the “Legendary Nights” with two of the other inductees, Michael Vick and Michael Huff. She congratulated them in her post’s caption as well.
“Honoring Coach Saban and watching Texas’ own [Huff] shine on stage felt like a full-circle moment. And congrats to [Vick] on his induction and HBCU coaching journey,” she wrote.

As the night celebrated legends, the moment also spotlighted the contrast between Texas’ presence on the red carpet and the reality of their season. Sarkisian is returning home from Vegas with pressure mounting after missing the playoff field and facing another round of questions about direction and staff stability.

Steve Sarkisian Fired Running Backs Coach
Texas ended the season outside the playoff picture despite the early optimism surrounding Arch Manning’s rise and a roster filled with talent. The offense never found the rushing consistency Sarkisian needed, and the struggles pushed him to remove running backs coach Chad Scott.
Production dipped across the board. The backfield rotation never settled. Efficiency dropped in key matchups. Sarkisian is already working on reshaping the position room.
Reports now point to him targeting Frank Wilson from LSU, a respected developer of running backs with deep recruiting ties. Texas has opened conversations as Sarkisian looks for a replacement who can stabilize one of the offense’s weakest areas.
The coaching reset, combined with the postseason miss, makes this one of the most important offseasons of Sarkisian’s Texas tenure.
