Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian had his lady luck in attendance for their Week 2 game against the San Jose State Spartans after losing their season opener against the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus.
Sarkisian’s wife, first lady of the Longhorns and fashion icon Loreal Sarkisian, arrived at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday in quite an outfit. Sarkisian posted photos from the field, featuring her in a sleeveless, short white dress with a bodice and skirt.
Loreal wore shiny metallic silver cowboy-style boots. In accessories, she donned layered silver necklaces, including a pendant, and a shiny silver quilted handbag. She styled her hair in a straight bob style. In one photo, she’s flashing the Texas “Hook ’Em Horns” hand sign.
“Happy Game Day,” she wrote in the caption.

Steve Sarkisian Once Credited Loreal for Dashing Gameday Looks
Not only Loreal but also head coach Steve Sarkisian’s picture-perfect looks at the sidelines of a college football game have drawn quite the attention. As expected, even Sarkisian relies on his wife to provide him with the best appearance before every game.
Following their Week 2 matchup in September 2024, TV host Kirk Herbstreit teased Sarkisian about his stylish sideline attire. Sarkisian responded:
“You know, I have one at home (Loreal). She does a great job for me, man.”
Steve Sarkisian and Loreal have been married since June 2020. They separated briefly in mid-2024, but later that same year they reconciled. In April 2025, they welcomed their first child together. They named their son Amays (affectionately called “Xolo”). Loreal is also a stepmother to Steve’s three children, Taylor, Ashley, and Brady.
Loreal was raised in Tallahassee, Florida, and was a track and field athlete in college. She was a member of North Carolina A&T State University’s track and field team. Loreal became an assistant track and field coach at USC, where she crossed paths with Steve Sarkisian, the then Trojans’ head football coach. Over time, she pivoted to fashion and is now a renowned fashion icon.
