Head coach Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs exercised their dominance against Steve Sarkisian’s Texas Longhorns on Saturday night at Sanford Stadium.
The Bulldogs entered this game as the better-ranked team (No. 5 vs No. 10) and showed up well and truly. Gunner Stockton (24-29, 229 yards, 4 TDs and 1 INT) was pretty efficient while Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning struggled to complete passes(27-43, 251 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), while also throwing one interception in the lopsided 35-10 loss.
Fans are now blaming Sarkisian as the Longhorns dropped to 7-3 on the season as they take a major hit to their College Football Playoff hopes.
“Sark is getting absolutely outclassed and outcoached. Nobody should be surprised. The most unserious coach of the most unserious football team,” one fan wrote.
“Let’s just say it. Sark is a fraud,” another fan commented.
“Kirby>>>>>>>>>sark,” one fan added.
“Sark letting kirby chunky a*s get the best of him,” one fan added.
“Hahahahahhahahaha sark is pathetic. NEVER PREPARED!!!” one fan reacted.
“Steve Sarkisian is the most overrated coach in the country. The guy is simply not good,” one fan wrote.
With the win, Georgia improved their record to 3-0 against Steve Sarkisian led Texas program.

Steve Sarkisian Opens Up About His Growing Bond With Kirby Smart
Ahead of Georgia’s game, Steve Sarkisian revealed receiving text from Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, checking up on him.
“He checked in with what I was doing,” Sarkisian said Monday via On3. “I said I just got a workout in. About to have breakfast and watch you play, bud. Good luck. We’ll see how it goes.”
Sharing an insight about their growing bond, the Longhorns’ head coach said:
“I think our relationship has gotten closer since we’ve been in the league. We have more things to talk about. One thing about him being the head coach at Georgia and myself being the head coach at Texas, we have an opportunity to be influential on trying to do what’s best for our game not only in our conference but in the state of college football. I think us being aligned on as many issues as we can be aligned on I think is good for the sport.”
Sarkisian added that he respects Smart a lot and he is looking forward to every game he has against him.
Sarkisian and Smart both belong to Saban’s legendary coaching tree. And now both are making waves with their respective programs. Smart has already led Georgia to back-to-back national titles. Meanwhile, Sarkisian has also helped Texas make the College Football Playoff semifinals the last two seasons.
