2025 was a disappointing year for the Texas Longhorns of Steve Sarkisian, starting with national title hopes and with Arch Manning as a front-runner for the Heisman Trophy. It ended with the Longhorns with an unglamorous 9-3 record, and with Manning looking as one of the most mediocre quarterbacks in the SEC.
As a consolation prize, the No. 13 school in the nation is set to fight it out with the No. 18 Michigan Wolverines for the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl later this afternoon. The game is being played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The Longhorns have already arrived in town for the last game of their 2025 season, and the most recent post in the team’s Instagram account shows players and the coaching staff arriving at Camping World Stadium. One of the photos shows coach Steve Sarkisian, with his wife Loreal Sarkisian, and their son, toddler Brady Sarkisian.

Who is The Favorite For The Cheez-It Citrus Bowl? Texas or Michigan?
According to DraftKings, the Texas Longhorns are favored for this postseason game. They have them as -8.5 favorites against the spread, and the ESPN game predictor is giving them a 57.4% chance of winning the encounter.
In all fairness, the Wolverines and Ann Arbor in general have been rocked by the Sherrone Moore scandal for the last few weeks, and it’s to be expected that their former coach’s destitution and arrest would affect the morale of the locker room.
