Roughly a month from the start of the season, LSU Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier made a major move in his relationship with his longtime girlfriend Ella Springfield. On Sunday, Nussmeier went down on one knee to propose to Ella for marriage.
As expected, Ella said yes and the couple had a warm setting for the private ceremony, in a romantic lakeside setting in Grove, Oklahoma. Nussmeier shared several photos, some of which were black and white. In one photo, Nussmeier is down on one knee while Ella has her hands over her mouth to display surprise towards the proposal.
In another photo, they had their dog Mister Mann joining them in the backdrop of open sea and floral arrangement. The two are captured sharing a warm hug in another image. Finally, Nussmeier also uploaded the image of the engagement ring that he put on Ella’s finger.
“Forever and always, yes yes yes. “I have found the one whom my soul loves.” -Song of Solomon 3:4,” Ella wrote in the caption of the post.
