Colorado Buffaloes safety and NFL prospect Shilo Sanders talked about his brother Shedeur Sanders ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. Shilo Sanders Gets Honest About Playing With Shedeur in the NFL

The 2025 NFL Draft hype train has been in full swing, especially due to players like Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, and Travis Hunter making waves throughout the process.

In a social media video uploaded on X by “JaKiTruth,” Shilo Sanders talks about playing with his brother in the big league and securing a package deal. During the interview, he was asked about his thoughts on Shedeur moving to the NFL.

“It’s good because we could be a package deal,” Shilo stated in the interview.

He was also asked about the rumor of Deion Sanders becoming the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys this offseason. Shilo seemed unsure about Coach Prime’s future decision.

I don’t know what he’s going to do. He’s not really in on the package deal right now,” he said.

Shilo Sanders wants to make his legacy moving forward as the defensive back and doesn’t want to be associated with who his father is.

Shilo Sanders Wants To Make His Own Name

Shilo Sanders confronted the interviewers about calling him “Deion Sanders’ son,” as he wants to make his own legacy and doesn’t want to lose himself in his father’s shadow.

Moreover, he’s coming strong after he suffered a setback during the game against Nebraska when he suffered a broken forearm and even overcame shoulder surgery in the previous season.

In a video uploaded by Rivlas on X, Shilo stated that he would also want the media to associate the Sanders name with his mother, Pilar, as well.

“I mean, I don’t call myself Prime’s son. That’s y’all that call me that. I’ve been making a name for myself for a long time. If you want to keep calling me that, then that’s cool. So we’re not really focused on that. I mean, that’s our dad. He’s great. So, if you want to say those are Prime’s sons, it is what it is. We are Prime’s son. We’re also individuals, and we’re good at what we do also,” Shilo said.

“The only thing bad about like people saying, oh, he’s Coach Prime’s son, they just leave my mom out. You know? Like my mom’s sitting over here, man. Like, call them Pilar’s sons sometimes, you know,” he added.

Shilo Sanders surprised everyone with his performance in the Shrine Bowl, irrespective of his setbacks. With time, he has the ability to make it to the top of American football.
