The Colorado Buffaloes are sending a few players to the NFL after stellar careers out in Boulder.
While quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter are the biggest names, cornerback Shilo Sanders is also a talented player who could have a bright future in the league.

Five Likely Destinations for Shilo Sanders
There are several teams that need the cornerback position, but these are the five best spots for the 25-year-old:
Green Bay Packers
The Packers have already changed up their cornerback room this offseason. They let former cornerback Eric Stokes become a free agent before signing free agent veteran Nate Hobbs to a multi-year deal.
But, they still have to figure out what they are doing with Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander. If they decide to trade him, they must replace him, which is where Sanders could come in.
Miami Dolphins
Miami is a little further down the road than Green Bay, with their star cornerback, as they have let Jalen Ramsey search for a trade partner.
Sanders is an experienced defensive back who stands at 6’0″ and weighs nearly 200 pounds.
He would be a suitable replacement for the All-Pro cornerback, especially in a division with Josh Allen.
Las Vegas Raiders
Why not stay close to home? Las Vegas is just a short flight away from Boulder, and what’s even better is that the Raiders need help on the back end of their defense. They did replace Nate Hobbs with Eric Stokes in free agency, but Stokes has an injury history.
Sanders is a bigger defender and can be a cornerstone piece of a defense that needs to start ascending in a division with Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Bo Nix.
Buffalo Bills
While the Bills can boast one of the best defenses in the league, they have yet to replace free agent cornerback Rasul Douglas.
Sanders has the length and speed to hang with any wide receiver, especially in the AFC East.
New York Jets
The Jets just lost D.J. Reed in free agency, and with new head coach Aaron Glenn’s pedigree as a former Pro Bowl cornerback, he could be looking for a suitable replacement.
Shilo Sanders could be a target in the second or third round.
Shilo Sanders Scouting Report
Sanders is a versatile safety who quickly became known for his physicality and football intelligence.
While he exhibits excellent ball skills and a knack for creating turnovers, all too often his missed tackles took over highlight tapes. However, those turnovers all too often made up for those, as evidenced by his 80-yard interception return for a touchdown against Colorado State.
Sanders demonstrates a willingness to support the run, often delivering impactful tackles. However, concerns about his size and injury history, including a shoulder injury and an ACL tear, may affect his durability and effectiveness against larger opponents.
