While Shedeur Sanders had the best performance of his career during the Tennessee Titans showdown in week 14 and became the only Browns rookie to throw for 350+ passing yards with 3 touchdowns in the history of the franchise, he went viral for a unique reason.
A picture of the ex-Colorado QB while he was on the ground went viral, where it seemed like he was wearing a beige coloured thong.
While some fans trolled him for seemingly wearing a thong, others were confidently defending him, saying that it’s a tape for his back.
Shedeur’s brother, Shilo Sanders, took the matter into his own hands and took the Browns QB on a call to clear the misconception and asked him directly if he was wearing a thong, to which Shedeur said:
“C’mon bro, you forgot I had a back injury, so I get my back taped, but that is crazy that it did look like that, that’s funny though.”
Shilo responded by saying, “I know you wasn’t wearing no thong, bro, he wouldn’t do nothing like that, right?”
Shedeur then clarified and said, “Nah brother, you know that’s called a back tape bruh.
The conversation reminded Shilo of a fashion show he did with his brother in Paris and said, “remember when we were in Paris and you had that little bag, the one that was like this, yeah so i dont know what you’re doing next, i dont know if thong’s the next big thing, nah fam, I know you’re not gonna do nothing like that, you Shedeur, it’s alright fam, I’ll let everybody know, it’s not like that.”
𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Shilo Sanders confronts Shedeur Sanders for wearing a THONG against the Titans.
“Did you wear a thong or not? I didn’t know if thongs were the next big thing. How do you feel playing a good game and everything gets shadowed by your thong?”

Eric Mangini Blames Shedeur Sanders for Kevin Stefanski’s Disastrous Call
The ex Browns coach who stayed with the franchise from 2009-2010 and secured a 5-11 record per season shared his thoughts on the controversial call made by Kevin Stefanski during the Titans game that cost Cleveland their win in week 14.
Eric Mangini weighed in on the “reality of the situation” during his appearance on FS1’s “First Take” on Monday and said that the Browns went for a two-point conversion earlier in the game and Shedeur fumbled it, which is what forced Stefanski to go with someone else in that call.
“So then this two-point conversion, which is a Wildcat play, which they’ve run consistently since Shedeur’s been playing, they’ve run this Wildcat package, they’ve scored four touchdowns and an extra point. They’ve been running or practicing this play since August… It’s a play that they’ve run several times; it’s a package which they’ve used extensively in the red zone with success. Shedeur fumbled the snap on the previous two-point conversion.”
The Browns will now play Caleb Williams’ Chicago Bears in week 15.
