Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was not just fired, he was also arrested on charges of assault. Moore had been fired over an alleged “illicit affair” he had with a staffer despite being married and having three children. His alleged mistress broke up with him, and he would not stop texting her, eventually stalking her and prompting her to report him to the University of Michigan, which soon led to his firing.
This soon led to fans reacting to Moore at his arraignment, which showed the downfall of one of college football’s once most respected coaches.
“Sh*t just got real,” one fan said.
“He doesn’t look all there,” another fan noted.
“Such a surreal story. From coaching a major university to in jail within 5 days,” one X user added.
“Heartfelt for his wife & kids and all us Wolverines who he disappointed & disrespected,” said one Michigan fan.
“all this guy had to do was deal with the embarrassment of his actions with his family, lay low for a few months and use his connections to get an assistant coaching job somewhere. Instead he lost his composure had a full meltdown and absolutely ruined his life. emotional regulation is so important.” one commenter claimed.

Sherrone Moore Released From Jail After Paying Bond
After being arraigned on Friday, a judge set Moore’s bond at $25,000. He was able to pay that amount and is now free. He was officially charged with home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering.
There were several conditions for his bond, and this includes him being required to continue all of his mental health treatments. In addition, he is also barred from taking alcohol, marijuana, or other non-prescription drugs, as well as being banned from owning a gun. He is also not allowed to leave Michigan without permission from the courts.
Prosecutor Kati Rezmierski alleges that the fired Michigan coach tried to enter his former mistress’s home, successfully doing so. He then grabbed butter knives and scissors from a kitchen drawer and threatened to self-harm. His wife had also reported to the police that her husband was suicidal.
