Shedeur Sanders and the entire Sanders family are savvy businesspeople. Deion Sanders started the family tradition of building a brand outside of the sport they play. As a result, it is not a surprise to see Shedeur follow in his footsteps by signing several brand deals as the 2025 NFL draft approaches.
However, when Sanders released a new practice video on Wednesday, March 5, he was wearing one of his dad’s products.

Shedeur Sanders Posts a YouTube Video With Him Wearing Deion Sanders’ Nike Sneakers
Deion Sanders released a redesign of his classic Nike sneakers in a recent partnership with Nike. The new sneakers were released earlier this year and have been incredibly popular. Deion’s son, Shedeur Sanders, posted a video on Wednesday of him going through drills and practicing. In the video, Shedeur can be seen wearing his father’s iconic Nike sneakers.
Sanders is familiar with signing brand deals of his own. As part of the same video, he showed behind-the-scenes footage of a photo shoot he did with Gatorade.
However, while Sanders has not had issues attracting brands to partner with him, he has not been as successful at attracting the interest of NFL teams.
Since the end of the 2024 college football season, Sanders has been widely viewed as one of the two best QB prospects in the draft alongside Miami’s Cam Ward. However, Sanders’ draft stock took a hit after the NFL Combine.
Sanders attended the NFL Combine but did not participate in drills. Instead, he only attended to do interviews with NFL teams. However, NBC reporter Matthew Berry reported that many teams were not happy with their interviews with Sanders, calling him unprofessional and disinterested.
“They both said it was a bad meeting and that he came off as unprofessional and disinterested,” Berry wrote in his Combine recap on Tuesday. Both also said that after the meeting they had a lesser opinion of him than prior. These same people both met with Cam Ward as well, and both said they loved Ward, and it was a great meeting.”

Berry reported that the Cleveland Browns were the only team that did not have issues with Sanders’ personality. He said that the Browns had positive meetings with both Sanders and Ward.
They hold the second pick, so it will be interesting to see which QB they choose if the Tennessee Titans choose not to take a QB.
