Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and eventual 2025 NFL draftee Shedeur Sanders dropped a song prior to the annual selection event, showcasing his ability as an artist while preparing for his future on the gridiron.

Shedeur Sanders Drops New Song Prior to 2025 NFL Draft
Life is busy nowadays for Sanders, who finished his time in Boulder, Colo., with the Buffaloes and immediately began preparing for the NFL Scouting Combine with stops at the Shrine Bowl in late January and the Super Bowl in New Orleans in early February.
Although he didn’t compete in on-field drills at the NFL Combine, Sanders was there to interview with numerous teams looking into drafting the 23-year-old QB.
During all his travel, workouts, and media obligations, Sanders found time for another one of his talents: music.
While in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, Sanders filmed parts of a music video for a song called “Life,” released through Well Off Media. Sanders is not unfamiliar to releasing hits — his first song, “Perfect Timing,” has over 5.5 million streams on Spotify.
In his new song, Sanders expressed his busy nature.
“There’s too much going on, girl just do me a favor,” the QB sang.
The former Buffalo is expected to be a high first-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, with some projecting him to go as high as No. 1 overall. Widely considered one of the top two signal-caller prospects in the draft — along with the Miami Hurricanes’ Cam Ward — Sanders is rightfully busy with many teams wanting to do their due diligence on the young passer.

As much as a quarter of the NFL may be in the market for a quarterback early in the draft, with the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants holding selections at the top of the draft with a major void at the QB position.
While Sanders’ future remains on the field, he’s setting up to be a tremendous artist off of it with the potential for multiple hit songs.
Sanders’ Growing Brand Beyond Football
Sanders isn’t just preparing for the NFL — he’s building a brand that extends far beyond the football field. With his music career gaining traction and his presence in media continuing to expand, Sanders is positioning himself as more than just a QB.
His ability to balance athletics, entertainment, and business ventures is a testament to his marketability, a key factor in the NIL era that has shaped modern college football stars.
Much like his father, Deion Sanders, Shedeur is leveraging his platform to create opportunities outside of football. His social media following, endorsement deals, and now a budding music career make him one of the most recognizable names entering the 2025 NFL Draft.
As teams evaluate him as a prospect, they’re not just considering his on-field talent — they’re also weighing the star power and leadership that come with him. Whether it’s under the bright lights of the NFL or behind the mic, Sanders is proving he’s ready for the next stage in more ways than one.
