After his visit to Pittsburgh on Thursday, Shedeur Sanders explained his position on supporting Aaron Rodgers if he is drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Is Pittsburgh Waiting on Aaron Rodgers To Make His Decision?
There are a lot of balls up in the air, pardon the pun, about the scenario in which Aaron Rodgers starts for the Steelers and Sanders ends up behind him on the depth chart.
Rodgers has to decide he is going to Pittsburgh, and the Steelers need to know that before the draft.
With the Steelers selecting 21st in the NFL draft, Shedeur may not be available, or they would have to move up significantly to select Sanders, who is one of the top quarterbacks in the draft.
The website Steelers Nation speculated on Rodgers’ plans and whether he ends up with the Steelers, adding that “Rodgers could be waiting until after the draft to see if a starting quarterback is injured or if a quarterback-needy team doesn’t get the signal-caller they desire from the draft.
Sanders appeared on the Up and Adams Show after he visited Pittsburgh with Kay Adams, where Adams asked him several questions about his meeting in Pittsburgh.

Shedeur elaborated on his meeting with head coach Mike Tomlin and was asked by Adams, “Should he be allowed to go to a 10-win team like the Steelers?”
She asked him if Rodgers was brought up as a quarterback playing for the Steelers, and he said, “We didn’t talk about anybody.”
Adams also asked him whether he was opposed to backing up Rodgers. “If that’s the way that things play out, then that’s how it plays out,” said Sanders. I wouldn’t question what God has planned for me.”
