The Cleveland Browns lost a very close game to the Cincinnati Bengals, and it was kicker Andre Szmyt who could have saved the game with a field goal, with the Browns losing by just one point, 16-17. Soon after that missed field goal, Shedeur Sanders shared a touching moment as he tried to console kicker Andre Szmyt.

However, not everybody was impressed with that gesture, as several people took to the comments section and made fun of the Browns quarterback and the kicker.
“He’s like done worry bro i suck too, we can both get fired together 😂” one person joked.
“Screw sanders no one should listen to his advice at all,” another critic added.
“Still using Shedeur for likes….Had he messed up he on the front page of the plain dealer,” said another commenter.
However, there were also a lot of fans who were touched by his gesture and praising him for his leadership, even though he is just the QB3.
“Even when the organization is doing him bad he shows support to a teammate. I hope the Browns lose every game until they start this young man,” one supporter noted.
“He went to uplift his teammate after missing a kick to win the game and people want to complain everything. I’m convinced people live miserable lives,” another person added.
“Don’t worry bro when I’m QB1 you won’t even have to kick field goals just extra points 🤝” said another commenter.
Check out the reactions below:
That field goal attempt happened with 2:22 left in the fourth quarter, and this would have placed the Browns in the lead by two points and possibly the victory. Szmyt also missed an extra point attempt in the third quarter, which means that his two misses may have costed the Browns their season opener.

Did Shedeur Sanders Play in 1-Point Loss to Cincinnati?
With Joe Flacco starting for Cleveland against the Bengals, there is the question of did Shedeur Sanders play? The answer is no, he did not even get any minutes in that one-point loss.
Dillon Gabriel is the backup quarterback, which meant that should Cleveland sub out Flacco, Gabriel would be the likeliest to get the nod. Gabriel is No. 2 in the depth chart and Sanders is No. 3. Because of his position, he is considered the emergency quarterback and would likely only see playing time should something happen to either Flacco or Gabriel.
