Shedeur Sanders’ Cleveland Browns don’t seem able to catch a break. The historically struggling franchise is under the spotlight once more for all the wrong reasons. Running back Quinshon Judkins didn’t report this Friday, alongside the rest of the Browns’ rookies, to training camp.
#Browns RB Quinshon Judkins remains unsigned and won’t report to training camp today with the rest of the rookies. He’s focusing more on his legal matter right now and so are the #Browns.

Judkins was recently arrested for domestic violence and battery charges in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fans quickly reacted to the news that the player would be missing training camp while dealing with his legal issues:
“If he were drafted by any other team, he’d be on his way to a Walter Payton award. What a cursed franchise,” said one fan.

“He dropped the bag before he ever touched the football,” lamented another person.
“They might want to trade for James Cook,” said a fan, predicting Judkins’ dismissal.
“😂😂😂 browns is the browns,” joked another.
“Browns tradition,” declared one person.
Not everyone agreed with Judkins’ decision.
“So now he’s just gonna sit in his living room and do nothing. What’s that accomplish? Court isn’t 24/7. I’d run his axs off every practice until he puked and remind him every day why,” proposed one fan.
“Damn I really wanted to see Judkins out there on the field,” wished another fan.

What is Cleveland Browns’ running back Quinshon Judkins accused of?
Quinshon Judkins was arrested a week ago on charges of domestic violence and battery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After his first court appearance, his bond was set at $2500, and the charges were described as “touch or strike/battery/domestic violence” against an unknown female. The charges are misdemeanors, not felonies.
The judge found probable cause during the bond hearing and ordered Judkins not to have any contact with the woman accusing him. He has also been prohibited from having access to firearms. According to Judkins’ defense, the facts of the case have been blown out of proportion, and the Cleveland Browns running back is being taken advantage of:
“I think the state’s overstating the facts,” said attorney David Weinstein, during the initial hearing.
Judkins hasn’t signed his contract yet, and the Browns are reportedly prepared to put him on paid leave as soon as he signs it. He was the second-round pick of the franchise in the 2025 NFL Draft.
