Shedeur Sanders’ NFL journey has not been the easiest. While the start of his career began on a shocking note when he slid out to the 5th round and got picked by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th overall pick, he is now spending the time as the team’s QB3.
The Browns chose veteran quarterback Joe Flacco as their QB1 and named ex-Oregon star Dillon Gabriel as the QB2, who was picked as the 94th overall pick.
During an interview before the Sunday’s game, Shedeur Sanders was asked about his feeling on not being able to play on gamedays to which he replied saying he is enjoying being at the Scouts team as he has six gamedays that way rather than just one, a statement that did not sit well with many fans.
“This is when a toddler acts the opposite way to the logical extreme and comes across as childish “I’m improving on the practice team and look forward to helping the team every day.” But he knows that won’t get attention so yeah literal child behavior,” one fan commented.
“Hilarious that the 0-2 soon to be 0-3 Browns have their most talented QB playing scout team…poverty franchise”, another fan wrote.
“Just so you know , it’s actually really bad for him playing in the scout team. For those who don’t know, in the scout team coaches give you a play and a guy that you have to throw to. If not than you’re not helping and actually most of the coaches actually get mad af,” another fan added.
“Same guy told Baltimore to not draft him because he didn’t want to be behind Lamar,” another fan recalled.
“The NFL taught him humility real quick,” a fan wrote.
“Maturity? Man that ni*ga ain’t got no type of dog in him,” another fan expressed frustration.
Powerful: Browns’ star QB Shedeur Sanders says scout team reps are his “gameday” and he loves playing with them.
“I have six games a week. I’m happy rather than having one game a week on weekends.”
It’s rare to see this type of maturity from a rookie.pic.twitter.com/1qcvvVNB9S
