“Just Hand the Keys to Shedeur”: Fans Call for Joe Flacco to Be Benched Following Another Costly Interception vs. Lions

Shedeur Sanders, who was projected to be a first-round pick, had a shock of his life when he saw a massive draft slide during the 2025 NFL Draft and was eventually picked by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th overall pick.

The ex Colorado quarterback has been working towards making a name for himself since then, and impressed fans with his skills during the training camp as well as the NFL Preseason games.

After the preseason games, it was announced that veteran quarterback Joe Flacco will be the Browns’ QB1, with Dillon Gabriel as QB2 and Shedeur Sanders as QB3.

As Flacco struggle during the Week 4 matchup against Detroit lions, fans lose their cool and demand to see the ex Colorado star to take the center stage:

“They talking about Flacco throwing an interception and then he fu*king throws an interception. Gone and put Shedeur Sanders in and let’s see him work. Bc tf is this Kevin?” One fan expressed frustration.

“Flacco should have retired his carrer is ending in the toilet bowl. No one can give Shedeur Sanders any sh*t for saying he can play better than some in the NFL at this point regardless if he was or wasn’t talking about Joe… we all have EYE BALLS!” another fan made a case for Shedeur.

“Joe Flacco… just hand the keys to Shedeur this is painful,” a fan demanded.

“Browns need to put the pride aside and put old Joe Flacco on the sideline for Shedeur Sanders . It will be Gabriel since he’s 2nd string but still,” another fan added.

“The missing link to the Browns Offensive is SHEDEUR SANDERS. The defense is SUPERBOWL caliber, but the offense lacks identity!!” a fan commented.

“Joe Flacco throws another interception Browns coach should put Shedeur sanders in,” another fan wrote.
