Steve Sarkisian’s Texas Longhorns are struggling in what was supposed to be a season in which they were to challenge for the national title. Their season has been a disappointment so far, as their current record reads 5-2.
Arch Manning, the highly anticipated quarterback of the world-famous Manning clan, has turned out to be an underwhelming starter.
Amid all of this, some rumors began to circulate that Sarkisian is looking to jump ship to the NFL. However, his agent, Jimmy Sexton, has denied the rumors.
Statement from Steve Sarkisian’s agents Jimmy Sexton and Ed Marynowitz at CAA: “Any reports regarding communications on coaching opportunities with NFL teams are patently false and wildly inaccurate. Sark is solely focused on coaching the University of Texas football team.”

Nonetheless, fans have their own take on the situation.
“Sexton doing damage control. Sark just got a raise and extension, this isnt a money grab. This most likely got out because he’s truly shopping a NFL job,” said one fan.
“If you have to put out a mass report to tell people that you ‘aren’t interested and fully focused on Texas’ then you are almost assuredly exploring those opportunities that were reported,” claimed someone else.
A few Texas Longhorns fans seemed angry at Steve Sarkisian.
“If it is shown he actively shopped for another job, then Sarkisian should be dismissed with cause. Same thing he does to players who enter the portal,” complained one fan.
Is the Texas situation deliberately made by Steve Sarkisian? One fan seems to think so.
“lol, sark created this Arch mess. Arch is terrible but sark can’t bench him. It’s a total disaster,” explained someone else.
Would an NFL team want to hire someone like Steve Sarkisian?
“Why would any NFL team wanna hire that bozo?” asked someone.
“He was a terrible OC for the atlanta falcons,” claimed another person.
“1. Sark isn’t getting a raise the way the offense has performed. 2. No NFL teams will want Sark the way the offense has performed,” claimed someone else.
