SEC East Season Prediction – Regular Season Win Totals
- Florida – 5.5
- Georgia – 11.5
- Kentucky – 6.5
- Missouri – 6.5
- South Carolina – 6.5
- Tennessee – 9.5
- Vanderbilt – 3.5
The Bulldogs are once again the clear favorites for the SEC East crown and ultimately to emerge victorious from the SEC Championship Game. They have to answer who will replace Stetson Bennett still, but the way Kirby Smart has recruited, that shouldn’t be an issue with the talent they have on the roster.
The Florida Gators are an interesting team as their win totals sit at 5.5, above only Vanderbilt in the entire conference, not just the East. The Gators hold themselves to a high standard, rightfully so, and you have to think the seat would get hotter and hotter for Billy Napier if they don’t reach that elusive sixth win in 2023.
It’s early to talk about hot seats for Napier, that’s for sure, but the bell tolls for thee much quicker nowadays in the college football ranks.
SEC West Season Prediction – Regular Season Win Totals
- Alabama – 10.5
- Arkansas – 7.5
- Auburn – 6.5
- LSU – 9.5
- Ole Miss – 7.5
- Mississippi State – 6.5
- Texas A&M – 7.5
Alabama is the prime candidate to emerge from the SEC West yet again, but LSU has officially closed the gap. With projected wins at 9.5, the Tigers are on the cusp of breaking through and representing the West for a second straight season under Brian Kelly.
Bettors are apparently ready to re-crown Alabama to their throne while the rest of the division is a muddy mess.
Texas A&M has too much talent to win just seven games while both Mississippi programs have shown they can make any game dicey for their opponents.
