Week 7 of the college football season is here, and that means there are some exciting games for fans to watch. However, it also means injuries are starting to pile up. Here is an update on injuries to some major stars in the SEC.

SEC Injury Report Week 7
John Mateer
Oklahoma QB John Mateer was a Heisman Trophy frontrunner before suffering a hand injury. He underwent surgery and was expected to miss at least a month. However, he has been upgraded to probable for the Red River Rivalry game against Texas on Saturday.

Garrett Nussmeier
LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier has not missed any time this year, but he has dealt with a torso injury since the preseason. He is still expected to play on Saturday.
Ryan Williams
Alabama WR Ryan Williams is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against Missouri. He suffered a concussion earlier this season.
Caden Durham
LSU RB Caden Durham is listed as probable for the team’s game against South Carolina on Saturday. He has been dealing with an ankle injury.
Ja’Kobi Jackson
Florida RB Ja’Kobi Jackson is listed as questionable on the Gators’ injury report. He missed the team’s Week 6 matchup against Texas
Ethan Davis
Tennessee tight end Ethan Davis is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Arkansas. he has missed the past two games with a shoulder injury.
David Oke
Arkansas defensive tackle David Oke will not play in the Razorbacks’ game this week. He has been dealing with a knee injury since before the season.
Sam Horn
Missouri quarterback Sam Horn underwent leg surgery in September. He is still out and is expected to miss the rest of the season. His injury has not been disclosed.
Scooby Williams
Texas A&M LB Scooby Williams is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against Florida. He has only appeared in three games this season because of an ankle injury.
CJ Baxter
Texas RB CJ Baxter is listed as doubtful for Texas’s game against Oklahoma on Saturday. He has not played since mid-September because of a hamstring injury he suffered against UTEP.
