Three Arizona Sun Devils have made the CSN’s Top 100 Returning Players list. The Sun Devils made the College Football Playoff last season and were led by their star running back, Cam Skattebo.
While Skatebo has declared for the NFL Draft, some key players are returning to Tempe next fall. Read on to find out which Sun Devils have made our list.

Which Sun Devil Players Were Listed Among Top 100 Returners?
The three Arizona State players featured on our list are all on the offensive side of the ball, which makes sense with how good of an offensive play-caller and talent developer Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham is.
Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt came in at No. 100 on the list; Kanye Udoh, the transfer running back from Army, was listed at No. 52; and Jordan Tyson, Arizona State’s leading receiver from 2024, is the 13th best returning player on our list.
100) Sam Leavitt, QB
Leavitt was consistently one of the better quarterbacks in the country last season with the Sun Devils. The former Michigan State paired up well with Dillingham and created a great passing attack for Arizona State.
Leavitt threw for 2,885 yards, 24 TDs, and six ints in his first year as a starter and now looks to continue his success into 25. I actually think this is a low ranking for Leavitt and that after the 2025 season, we could be talking about him as one of the best players in the country.
52) Kanye Udoh, RB
Udoh started his career with the Army Black Knights and transferred to Arizona State after his terrific 2024 season. Udoh was one of the most sought-after transfers this offseason, and the Sun Devils were able to land him as their Skattebo replacement.
Udoh ran for 1,117 yards and 10 TDs in 2024 and should be able to find success as a downhill runner for the Sun Devils. If Udoh can be as effective in the Big 12 as he was in the AAC, Arizona State should not expect a big loss of running production in 2025.
13) Jordyn Tyson, WR
Tyson returns in 2025 for his redshirt sophomore season and comes in as the 13th best returning player on our list. Tyson is a dynamic receiving weapon with a great frame and route-running ability as well as great hands.

Tyson racked up 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 TDs in 2024, playing just 12 games before breaking his collarbone in the last game of the regular season. With Tyson back healthy, expect him to put up even better numbers in 2025 and be high on draft boards in the 2026 NFL Draft.
