The Bearkats found ways to win at the end of the season rather than the other way around. They’ll have to continue to do more of that when they open the season against Rice and UCF in consecutive road games.
The Rainbow Warriors make the trek over, and three straight home games commence, with New Mexico State and Texas State closing out an eventual first five weeks of the season.

With Jacksonville State and Liberty on the tail end of their 2024 season, the road doesn’t get much easier as the season progresses this fall for Sam Houston.
The 20th annual Conference USA Championship Game will feature the top two finishers in conference play and is set to be played on Friday, December 6. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the CUSA Championship Game.
