Texas WR Ryan Wingo Reacts As Parker Livingstone Recaps TD Celebration With Arch Manning

After a disappointing start to the season, Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns were their dominant self during the 38-7 Week 2 win over the San Jose State Sharks. Parker Livingstone was the best receiver of the game as he received four receptions from Manning for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Both touchdown passes came in the first quarter. Manning found Livingstone on a 83-yard pass for the touchdown. Next up, he found Livingstone on another 3-yard touchdown pass to score 14 points in the first quarter. Livingstone’s jaw-dropping 83-yard score was the longest in the program’s history.

On Wednesday, Livingstone took to Instagram and posted glimpses from their Week 2 win. This included his pre-game outfits and celebrations after both of his touchdowns.

“One week at a time,” he wrote in the caption.

Texas HC Steve Sarkisian lavishes praise on Parker Livingstone as Arch Manning crowns Week 2 performance

Parker Livingstone earned accolades from both first-time full season quarterback Arch Manning and head coach Steve Sarkisian following his breakout performance in Week 2. What caught the most attention was his 83-yard pass in which he cruised to a speed of 20.3 mph to score the touchdown in the first quarter.

“I’ve been saying it all all along. I just don’t know if you guys believe me, I’ve been saying it since spring ball — Parker Livingstone is a really good player,” Sarkisian said on Saturday.

“He played good all spring. He played good all training camp. He’s played good for two weeks, like the guy is a good football player. He’s obviously got good rapport and good trust with Arch [Manning], and he makes plays. When the ball comes his way, he makes his plays and that’s a valuable asset to have, when you’re trustworthy. And he’s definitely a trustworthy guy.”

Meanwhile, Manning also lavished praises on him. He said:

“He can roll, for a white guy, too.”

Texas will next face the UTEP Miners in their Week 3 game.
