Everything to Know About Rocco Becht & Westly Farrior

Shortly after Rocco Becht committed to Iowa State, the quarterback started dating Westly Farrior. It’s been four seasons since and the couple is still going strong.

Becht’s girlfriend, Westly, is a University of Florida student, studying Information Systems in her second year. She is working with youth leadership programs, like working as a treasurer for Mu Sigma Lambda in Gainesville. Moreover, she contributes to “Spoon University” as a writer. Previously, she worked as Head of Computer Operations for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority for two years, as per her LinkedIn profile.

Meanwhile, Becht is climbing the charts as the top QB. He tallied 3,505 passing yards and 25 TDs in 2024, leading the Cyclones to the Big 12 Championship game after posting a 10-2 record. He is looking forward to the season opener against Kansas State.

“It’s a unique opportunity,” Becht said via the Lansing State Journal. “Not a lot of teams get this opportunity, and we were chosen to do it. I think it’s gonna be huge for us to go out there and compete against a good team in Kansas State. I think it’s something for us to go prove.”

Last season, Becht took down the Wildcats, playing a part in eliminating their chances of getting inside the 12-team College Football Playoff field. In that game, he completed 13-of-35 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried the ball eight times for 35 yards and one touchdown.

“It’s week one with two of the best teams, so you can’t have a lot of rust,” Becht said. “You gotta be able to play play-by-play and be consistent. I think when we go against K-State, we’re gonna have to be ready, and I think we’ve done a good job preparing so far.”

This season opener will be played on Aug. 23 in Dublin, Ireland.
