There has been much discussion surrounding legendary Hall of Famer and UNC head Coach Bill Belichick and his personal life, particularly his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson. It is now being reported that the 73-year-old Belichick’s future as head coach of the University of North Carolina’s football team may be uncertain due to the off-field drama.
It is also reported that Belichick’s contract contains a buyout clause, and teams, including NFL franchises, might be looking to trigger the clause and pry the coach away from UNC.

According to Pablo Torre, the buyout clause in Belichick’s contract with UNC drops dramatically from $10 million to just $1 million, and the deadline is June 1. Torre also claims there are concerns about Hudson’s influence on the coach.
“There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be, for not just North Carolina but Bill’s legacy, reputation – everything he has built and worked for over decades”, Torre said.

“… The question everybody is asking is, are things so dysfunctional behind the scenes when it comes to the power struggle, when it comes to what they are telling Bill to do: don’t have Jordon around anymore. Stop behaving in the way that you have. Basically telling him, for the first time really, that you’re an employee and not the boss of this building in the way that he may have been assuming he would be, then there is the ability for him to get out of it.” Torre continued.
There has been reports that the UNC administration are concerned about the relationship drama and it’s potential impact on the program’s image. It was even reported that Hudson had been banned from the program’s facilities but the institution would later deny the claim.

Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University,” Carolina Athletics told The Post in a statement.
