Former Texas Longhorns quarterback and now Miami Dolphins rookie Quinn Ewers recently shared a heartfelt note on social media to celebrate his partner’s special day. On Thursday, Sept. 4, Ewers’ girlfriend Madelyne Barnes celebrated her 22nd birthday.
Ewers uploaded a photo of himself and Barnes on his Instagram story. The couple is seen in formal outfits, as Ewers wore a black and white suit with a matching bow tie, while Barnes went with a light purple dress and heels. The photo is presumably from a gathering they attended previously, as Ewers dropped a five-word message for Barnes’ birthday.
“Happy birthday darling, I love ya,” Ewers wrote.

Ewers will uncork his first season in the NFL this month. This is because coach Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins are slated to open their 2025 NFL season on Sunday, Sept. 7, against the Indianapolis Colts in away territory at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ewers decided to forego his remaining years of collegiate football eligibility after spending the last three years at coach Steve Sarkisian’s Longhorns program. He was drafted into the league after being selected by the Dolphins with the 231st overall pick in the seventh round of this year’s draft. In his final year with the team, Ewers helped Texas finish with an overall record of 13-3 (7-1 SEC).
