It is a close one over at Norman, as the Oklahoma Sooners host the Alabama Crimson Tide for the first round of the College Football Playoffs. One Sooners fan present is University of Oklahoma student Madelyn Barnes, who is dating Miami Dolphins backup quarterback Quinn Ewers. Even while her boyfriend was playing for Texas, Barnes has solidly supported its eternal rival, Oklahoma, and this was evident in the first-round matchup.
Barnes took to social media to show her support for her beloved Sooners during the game, as she is present at Memorial Stadium to cheer for Oklahoma, who are trying to make it to the second round of the CFP.
“Let’s go Sooners!” she posted on her Instagram Stories.

Madelyn Barnes has also been a common sight at the Miami Dolphins games, as she cheers for Quinn Ewers, who did get some playing time as the Dolphins struggled this season, though they had a four-game winning streak at one point. If she is not cheering for the Dolphins, however, she is certainly cheering for the Sooners.
As for Ewers, he has now moved to become the new starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins after Mike McDaniel decided to bench Tua Tagovailoa for their next game. As Ewers prepares for his first start, expect Madelyn to travel long distances to watch him take a career milestone.
Ewers and Barnes have been dating since 2023, even though the two Texas natives attended rival schools. Texas vs. Oklahoma is one of the biggest school rivalries in the country. Despite being a student at a rival school, she was a constant presence at the Texas sideline when Ewers was still in college.

Many Are Looking Forward To What Madelyn Barnes Will Wear When BF Quinn Ewers Plays His First Start
Whenever Quinn Ewers plays for the Miami Dolphins, many often look to his biggest supporter, Madelyn Barnes. The Oklahoma superfan has been constantly at his side, and she has often gone viral with her outfits. Now that Ewers will get his first start for the Dolphins, she is expected to get the spotlight once again.
Ewers will start against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and Barnes is expected to be there with a game-day outfit. Many are already looking forward to it.
