The Sherrone Moore scandal over at the University of Michigan has rocked the school to its core, and it has certainly generated a lot of rumors. While many of these rumors are not backed by solid evidence, this has not stopped them from spreading all over the internet, and a new one involving Moore’s wife, Kelli, and the staffer Moore had an affair with, Paige Shivers, has now surfaced.
According to Black Sports Online, there are “unverified social media screenshots” that suggest that Shiver and Kelli Moore are actually friends and that Shiver was betraying Kelli for her relationship with her husband. The outlet did admit that this still remains conjecture.
Posts are already circulating on X, formerly Twitter, that the two women have followed one another on Instagram. The two have not commented publicly about the incident yet, so their friendship has not been verified. However, it could just be that the two knew each other because of Sherrone Moore, who could have introduced his wife to his staffers at one point.
Sherrone Moore has three daughters with Kelli and has maintained a “loyal family man” image for himself as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. However, this scandal has changed all of that. In addition, more claims on social media that he has been following and liking a lot of young women all over social media have been feeding the allegations of him being a cheater even further.
Soon after his firing, Moore snuck into Shiver’s home and threatened to harm himself. He was soon arrested and found that he had been dealing with some mental health problems. As a condition for his bond, Moore was ordered to get constant mental health evaluations and continue his treatment moving forward. He has now been released after he paid his bond.

Michigan Players Feel Betrayed Amid Sherrone Moore Scandal, Says Interim Coach
As fans speculate about the friendship between Moore’s wife and his alleged mistress, Biff Poggi, the Michigan interim head coach who has replaced Moore, has spoken up about what his players are feeling right now about the Sherrone Moore scandal.
“It has been a tumultuous time,” Poggi said. “A lot of … first disbelief, then anger, then really, what we’re in right now is the kids, quite frankly, feel very betrayed, and we’re trying to work through that.”
Despite not making it to the CFP, Michigan will still be playing the Citrus Bowl against Texas on New Year’s Eve, and it will be Poggi who will be leading them instead of the fired Moore.
