Michigan has abruptly fired its football head coach, Sherrone Moore, over his illicit affair with a female staffer named Paige Shiver. The university launched an investigation into the affair and found cause to fire the coach because of that. This begs the question; Is Shiver still employed at Michigan, or was she fired as well?
TMZ launched its own investigation into the matter and found that Shiver, who was found to be in an “inappropriate relationship” with Sherrone Moore, is still with the school. The outlet asked the school for comment, and this was what it said:
“There is no change in her employment status,” the University of Michigan said in a statement.

Moore was allegedly cheating on his wife with her, even if they already have three kids together. Soon after he was fired, he was caught trying to break into her home and was threatening to harm himself, with him allegedly stalking her for quite some time now. He was soon arrested and spent the night in jail and was soon found dealing with some mental health problems.
On Friday, Moore appeared on court via Zoom and it was revealed that the two had an affair for several years. However, he reportedly snapped after she broke up with him on Monday. Michigan’s coaching now faces a bit of uncertainty, as the firing came suddenly, with the possibility of recruits flipping and several star players entering the transfer portal.

It Was The Staffer He Had Affair With Who Reported Sherrone Moore To Michigan
New reports indicate that it was Paige Shiver herself who reported Moore to the school after she broke up with him. Officials stated that soon after she broke up with him, Shiver received several text messages and calls from Sherrone Moore over the next few days, though it seems that Michigan was already investigating the relationship.
Soon after he was arrested, Moore was released on $25,000 bond but had to undergo a mental health evaluation. He also had to undergo GPS monitoring and is not allowed to contact Shiver, as well as not being allowed to use “alcohol, marijuana, or other non-prescription drugs, possess or purchase any weapons, engage in criminal conduct, or leave Michigan without court permission.”
