One of Kansas City’s choices to fill the hole is reportedly Oregon State OL Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan. He is a towering prospect with a strong college resume. After starting his career at Colorado, he transferred to Oregon State for the 2024 season.
He made an immediate impact, starting all 12 games and earning Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Year honors. His impressive performances led to an invitation to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl, where he continued to showcase his skills.
Kansas City’s interest in Christian-Lichtenhan fits perfectly with their mission of building a strong offensive lineup. The Chiefs are well aware that protecting QB Patrick Mahomes is crucial to their continued success. With his rare size and agility, Christian-Lichtenhan could be an interesting addition to their unit.

As the draft process unfolds, the Chiefs will evaluate whether the towering tackle fits their system. If he impresses during his visit, Kansas City may see him as a long-term piece to help anchor their offensive front. With the team aiming for another Super Bowl run, every addition matters, especially one as physically imposing as “Tank.”
