Novasad is a four-star recruit quarterback from the class of 2023. At the time, he was considered the 13th-best quarterback in the nation and the 30th-best out of Texas. He’s now considered a three-star transfer. He’s the 38th-best quarterback in the transfer portal at the moment. Through three seasons, he has recorded only 99 passing yards. He redshirted in his sophomore year in 2024.

A cornerback from the class of 2023, Daylen Austin, was selected as a four-star recruit. He was considered the 11th-best player in the position in the class and the 11th-best player out of California that year. He’s now considered a three-star recruit, who’s the 15th-best cornerback in the transfer portal. Through three seasons at Eugene, he logged limited playtime with 23 total tackles and one interception.

    #3 Makhi Hughes

Oregon running back Makhi Hughes carries the ball as the Oregon Ducks host the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Sept. 6, 2025, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

Makhi Hughes is a three-star transfer who is the 11th-best running back in the portal. He was recruited as a three-star prospect out of Birmingham, Alabama, in the class of 2022 (although he took a redshirt that season due to an injury) by Tulane.

Then, in 2024, he transferred to the Oregon Ducks. Now he’s headed to the Houston Cougars for a final season of college football. While he was a starter with the Green Wave, logging a couple of 1000+ yards seasons, he recorded only 70 yards for Oregon in 2025. He took a regular redshirt and hence has two years of eligibility left.
