Ole Miss might have lost Lane Kiffin, but like a scorned ex, the Rebels have been dominant in the CFP so far and making it all the way to the final four. Even after a big-name coach has left, not many players have entered for the transfer portal yet and even gained more transferees coming in than going out, clearly impressed with what Pete Golding has done so far since Kiffin left.
So far, there are eight incoming transfers and just three outgoing transfers. The team still being in the CFP might be the reason why not many have declared yet, or are waiting to see how well the team can fare and maybe make it all the way to the national title. So, which players are leaving Oxford, and which ones are going to be joining Pete Golding’s squad next season?

Ole Miss Transfer Portal: Outgoing Players
- OL PJ Wilkins
- RB Domonique Thomas
- QB Austin Simmons
Ole Miss is not losing much yet, though once the Rebels are eliminated, then maybe the floodgates might open with some jumping ship to LSU to join Lane Kiffin, as a majority of them were recruited by Kiffin himself and may still be loyal to their former coach.
That being said, the biggest name leaving Ole Miss is QB Austin Simmons, a four-star quarterback who will be heading to Missouri next season, with the other two being unstarred transferees who are yet to find schools they could play for.
Ole Miss Transfer Portal: Incoming Players
- LB Chris Jones (Southern Mississippi)
- CB Sharif Denson (Florida)
- LB Keaton Thomas (Baylor)
- EDGE Jonathan Maldonado (Nevada)
- DL Michai Boireau (Florida)
- OT Carius Curne (LSU)
- CB Jay Crawford (Auburn)
- DL Jehiem Oatis (Colorado)
So far, most of the players that Ole Miss has gotten were for defensive positions, and that shows what kind of mindset Pete Golding will be giving to the Rebels next season. These are a mix of four to three-star players, with the biggest names so far being Florida’s Michai Boireau, LSU’s Carius Curne and Auburn’s Jay Crawford. All three are seen as good acquisitions from a team that will probably be rebuilding once the season is over.
