The Ole Miss Rebels may have found themselves without a head coach as Lane Kiffin has reportedly made his decision to move to Baton Rouge and coach the LSU Tigers after they fired Brian Kelly. The big question now is, who will coach the Rebels, especially after such a successful season under Kiffin?

5 Possible Ole Miss Head Coaches After Lane Kiffin Leaves For LSU
Brian Kelly
LSU just fired Brian Kelly and have reportedly settled their legal dispute over his buyout already. This means that Kelly is now looking for a job, and what better way to get back at his former employer than taking a job at Ole Miss? While his job over at LSU did not work out as well as he had hoped, Kelly does have a solid record as a head coach and is a good recruiter, and he may be a great fit with the Rebels.
Pete Golding
Pete Golding is currently Ole Miss’ defensive coordinator and he will not be going with Kiffin to LSU, opting to stay at Oxford and be the one to lead the Rebels at the College Football Playoffs. Many at the school also view him as a possible replacement for Kiffin, which means he is currently one of the favorites for the job.
Defensive coordinator Pete Golding is expected to remain at Ole Miss and will coach the Rebels in the playoff. Golding could also be a candidate to replace Kiffin as Ole Miss’ head coach. https://t.co/usE2a98bTc

Glenn Schumann
Schumann is currently the defensive coordinator at Georgia, but he does have some coaching pedigree as he used to be an assistant coach for Nick Saban over at Alabama, and Saban’s protegees have historically done well. He does not have any head coaching experience yet, which means that Ole Miss would be taking a chance on him, but he could be a solid pick if they do.
Jimbo Fisher
Like Brian Kelly, Fisher is also looking for a job. He used to be the head coach for Texas A&M and had a winning record with the Aggies. His name is currently one of the ones being floated to replace Kiffin at Ole Miss.
Joe Judge
Judge is the current quarterbacks coach at Ole Miss, and like Golding, is currently being floated as one of Kiffin’s replacements and highly favored by the school. He has coached on the NFL level before, but has never been a head coach at the college level. He used to be the head coach of the New York Giants.
