Fowler has been in the limelight of late, as she is dating one of the nation’s top college football stars. Her boyfriend, Sayin, plays quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, who won the national championship earlier this year.
Their relationship has been going strong since Sayin’s transfer to Ohio State from the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2024. They have been relishing the offseason break together, as they attended a Megan Moroney concert in Columbus last month. Fowler had shared photos of their concert experience on her Instagram story.
Sayin is competing to be Ohio State’s next starting QB following the departure of Will Howard, who was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in this year’s NFL Draft. Replacing Howard will be no easy feat, as he led the Buckeyes to their first national title since 2014 in his final year (2024) at Ohio State.
Sayin may or may not get the starting position, as he is locked in a battle with Lincoln Kienholz for the leading quarterback role. Kienholz has barely played for the Buckeyes, throwing for 111 yards in the 2023 season.
How Julian Sayin Performed for Ohio State in the 2024 Season
Julian Sayin didn’t play much for the Ohio State Buckeyes during their championship-winning season. He made just four appearances for Ohio State, with starting quarterback Will Howard getting the bulk of the action last year.
Sayin made his debut for Ohio State on Sept. 7 against Western Michigan. He completed both of his passes in the Buckeyes’ 56-0 win over the Broncos, throwing for 61 yards and a touchdown. He also ran the football, recording five rushing yards in the rout.

Sayin next saw action in the game against Michigan State on Sept. 28. He completed 3-of-5 passes for 23 yards in Ohio State’s 38-7 win. He made his third appearance against Purdue, recording 19 rushing yards in Ohio State’s 45-0 victory. His passing game suffered in that contest, going 0-for-4 with his throws.
Sayin’s final game for Ohio State last season came against Tennessee in the first round of the College Football Playoff. He went 0-for-1 with his passing in the Buckeyes’ 42-17 win over the Volunteers.
