First up for North Texas is a trip to Mobile, Alabama, to take on South Alabama. The perennial Sun Belt favorite is reloading under new head coach Major Applewhite after former head coach Kane Wommack left to join the staff at Alabama.
After taking on South Alabama to start the year, the Mean Green return to Denton for a three of their next four games. North Texas will host Stephen F. Austin, Wyoming and Tulsa with a matchup at Texas Tech sandwiched in their month of September.

The back half of the Mean Green’s schedule in 2024 is headlined by Army coming to town and games against AAC favorites Tulane and UTSA. North Texas makes the trek to San Antonio to face off against the Roadrunners in what could be a pivotal AAC game this fall.
