Cantwell chose Miami over widely-projected favorite Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State, whom he had previously ranked as his top four schools. This is a big time commitment for the ‘Canes, and fans should be ecstatic about getting such a dominant trench player.

There’s a reason that Jackson Cantwell is ranked as the best offensive lineman and a top overall recruit in the class of 2026. At just 16 years old, the Missouri native stands at 6’7″ and weighs 325 pounds.
Cantwell is relentlessly tough and consistently wins at the point of attack. His long arms allow him to get his hands on defensive linemen quickly, and his elite hand use will enable him to move players off their bases with ease. He’s strong and physical and should be an instant impact player for the ‘Canes.
