    Nick Saban Reveals His Role With Nashville Predators After Joining $1,600,000,000 Ownership Group

    Seven-time college football national championship winner Nick Saban recently purchased a minority stake in the NHL franchise Nashville Predators alongside business partner Joe Agresti.

    The former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach, Saban, during a press conference on Monday, reminisced about his days coaching the Crimson Tide while also revealing his role with the Predators and the things he’d like to instil in his new NHL side.

    “I challenged the team to be a team that nobody wants to play against. That was always our goal with Alabama” , Saban stated.

    “The toughness, the disposition you go out there and compete with. Those are things I’d like to continue to do”, he further elaborated

    The Predators, valued at approximately $1.6 billion according to Forbes, saw Saban and Agresti become a part of the Dream Sports Ventures LLC minority ownership group last week.

    Nick Saban, during the press conference, also addressed the foundation of building a winning program as he emphasized the importance of organizational structure and leadership, which includes things like recruiting the right players and managing the program responsibly.

    According to Saban, true success comes from the ability to unite people under strong leadership and ensure everyone works toward the same goals.

    Predators Chairman Bill Haslam Welcomes Nick Saban as Minority Owner

    The Nashville Predators’ chairman and majority owner, Bill Haslam, didn’t hide his excitement about bringing Nick Saban on board as one of the minority stakeholders.

    In an official announcement, Haslam welcomed Saban and Agresti to the franchise as part owners while also singing praises of Nick Saban and his achievements at the college football level.

    “I am really looking forward to having Coach Nick Saban and Joe Agresti as a part of our ownership group,” Haslam stated during the team’s official announcement.

    “Coach is one of the all-time greats in college football history and one of the winningest coaches in all of sports”, he further highlighted.

    Meanwhile, Nick Saban also shared his appreciation for hockey while also noting that, although he may not be able to coach the game itself, his understanding of what makes organizations successful will allow him to offer positive contributions to the franchise.
